About us
We pride ourselves on the highest quality training & consulting in today's ever changing and dangerous world.
"Training prepares you for the challenges of today; preparation ensures your triumphs of tomorrow."
Since its founding in 2006 by Shawn Soler, Medicine in Bad Places has aimed to prepare individuals for challenging situations beyond their everyday roles. Over the many years, we've built partnerships with educators from law enforcement, EMS, and fire departments nationwide. In 2018, we hosted one of New York's largest Tactical Medicine and First Responder conferences, uniting professionals to tackle modern challenges together. In 2019, we launched a program supplying Bleeding Control Kits and offering "Stop the Bleed Training" to schools and businesses. Today, in 2024, we continue to expand our reach across Queens and Long Island, committed to delivering top-tier training and consultancy to those responsible for others' safety.
